【ルワンダ受講生インタビュー】Princeさん「プログラムを経理業務に活かし、自動化と高速化を実現させる！」

ルワンダ受講生のPrinceさんにインタビューいたしました。高校で専攻していた『会計』とDICで学んでいる『プログラミング』を掛け合わせた将来の夢を語ってくれました。

2019年7月に開校した、ディープロルワンダ校。ディープロ東京校から代表の野呂とメンターが1名、現地に渡航してプログラミングを教えてきました。

学習が進んで1ヶ月した頃に受講生インタビューを実施！Shema Musonerwa Princeさんにお話を伺いました。

知識ゼロからのスタート。1ヶ月間で、簡単なWebアプリケーションを作れるまでに！

ディープロでプログラミングの勉強をし始めて1ヶ月経ちましたが、お気持ちはいかがですか？

It has been one month since you started learning here. How do you feel about studying programming in ディープロ?

Princeさん「この1ヶ月で大変多くのことを学びました。ディープロで勉強する前は、Webアプリケーションに関する知識は全くありませんでした。しかし今では、小さなものであれば、自分ひとりでもWeb上で何かを作れるくらい自信がつきました。フロントエンドやバックエンドなどを学び、大変価値のある1ヶ月間でした。」

Mr. Prince “I learned a lot this month. I didn’t have any knowledge regard to Web technology before studying here. But now, I’m comfortable as I’m ready to create a small product by myself. We did front-end, back-end and so on, so this month was very worthy.”

プログラミングは楽しいですか？難しいですか？

Is programming fun or difficult?

Princeさん「高校では会計を専攻していたので、プログラミングは非常に難しかったです。ディープロのおかげで、プログラミングに関するさまざまな知識を得られて、苦手意識もなくなりました。」

Mr. Prince “For me, because I did accounting in my high school so programming was very difficult for me. Now, I’m feeling well with it as by now I know a lot of things I didn’t know because of ディープロ.”

プログラミングを自国のために、どのように活用したいですか？

How do you want to use programming?

Princeさん「システムによる自動化は、手動で行なうよりも格段に速く実行できるので、ルワンダの何らかのシステムによる自動化を実現していきたいです。」

Mr. Prince “Because automated systems are much faster than manual ones, I think I need to boost some systems in Rwanda.”

『会計』x『プログラミング』でルワンダの発展を目指す

どの業界に1番興味を持っていますか？

Which sector are you most interested in?

Princeさん「高校で会計について学んだので、会計補助システムを作ることに興味があります。会計は自分に1番合った業界だと思います。」

Mr. Prince “As I did accounting in my high school, I think I am highly interested in creating systems that will help accountants as I have some accounting knowledge. I think accounting is the best sector I can fit in.”

将来の夢を教えてください。

What is your dream?

Princeさん「僕の夢はデキるプログラマーになることです。多くの人に使ってもらえて、国の発展を促すシステムを作れるようになりたいです。また、ルワンダ人が抱えている問題を解決できるシステムを作りたいです。」

Mr. Prince “My dream is to be a full stack developer. I’d like to build systems that are used by many people and accelerate developing my country. And also I would like to develop a system that will solve problems that people in my country are facing.”

ディープロに何か一言いただけますか？

Please give some comments to ディープロ.

Princeさん「ここルワンダで、ディープロの受講生の数を、現在の20名から500名くらいまで増やすことが可能だと思います。それはディープロにとって良いだけでなく、ルワンダにとってもありがたいことです。そしてより多くのシステムが改良され、より多くの人に使われていくといいなと思っています。ありがとうございました。」

Mr. Prince “I think you can increase the number of students, 20 to even 500 here in Rwanda. That will be good for you and also for Rwanda. And I wish more systems would be developed and used by a lot of people. Thank you so much.”
